The European Union has announced a green power program called "RepowerEU" involving up to 210 billion euros (221 billion US dollars) in funding over the next five years. It mentions establishing a dedicated EU solar strategy to double solar photovoltaic power capacity by 2025 and install 600GW by 2030.
